Career & Admissions

Future Career Prospects

Students in this department may choose to specialize in areas such as pharmaceutical chemistry, biomedical technology, or health medicine. After graduation, they can pursue careers in advanced industries related to traditional chemistry, health supplements, precision medicine, biomedical materials, cosmetic science, and semiconductors, where they can apply their professional expertise.

To help students continue their studies while reducing the overall duration of education, graduates may apply for the “Pre-master’s Program” and remain in the department to transition directly into the master’s program for advanced higher education. In addition, students may also develop their research skills and pursue further studies domestically or abroad. The overall goal is to equip students early with diverse professional competencies and prepare them to expand their future career opportunities.

Skills You Will Gain

Our department is established within a medical university and provides advanced facilities and abundant research resources. By integrating a professional medical background with fundamental scientific disciplines, we place equal emphasis on both areas to build a solid educational framework aimed at enhancing students’ learning outcomes.

The department places special emphasis on cultivating workplace competitiveness. Through collaborations with industry, we arrange career development seminars and industrial learning opportunities to broaden students’ perspectives on the professional world.

To assist students in pursuing further education after graduation and successfully connecting with high-tech industries in alignment with national industrial development policies, the department has developed three major directions for cultivating specialized talent:

  1. To cultivate interdisciplinary talents in advanced chemical technology and biomedical-related technologies.
(Connecting with industries such as optoelectronic semiconductors, nanobiotechnology, and biomedical materials.)

  2. To cultivate interdisciplinary talents in health medicine and healthcare technology.
(Connecting with industries such as pharmaceutical synthesis, cancer diagnostics, cosmeceuticals, and healthcare technology.)

  3. To expand opportunities for advanced studies and cultivate high-level talents in traditional chemistry fields.
(Connecting with domestic and international graduate schools, post-baccalaureate medical programs, and related educational pathways.)

In addition, the department also guides students to understand the importance of sustainability, with the goal of nurturing students into global citizens equipped with interdisciplinary abilities.
